1000 Member Milestone on Discord
We just hit a major milestone — the server now has 1,000 members!
Over the years, we’ve done several rounds of inactive member removals, so this number might’ve come sooner. But for me, having engaged members has always been more important than just chasing a bigger count. That said, 1,000 is an awesome achievement, and it’s all thanks to the work you all put in to make WCR a great place to race on iRacing — and a genuinely fun place to hang out.
My main focus continues to be building an engaging, inclusive community. Whether it’s races, prizes, great conversations, or opportunities to learn and improve, I want this Discord to offer real value to everyone here.
I’m not aiming for 10,000 members or going viral — if anything, I’d love to bring back some of that old-school WCR vibe, just scaled up a bit to match the larger grid sizes and activity levels we’ve built. That’s part of why we’ve moved to four focus races a week next season, and why I want to continue investing in special events, endurance races, and other ways to bring people together.
